This handcrafted vase is made on the potter's wheel using a combination of two stoneware clays. After the clay reaches the leather-hard stage, I meticulously trim it to achieve the desired form. This process reveals how the two clays have combined together. Each one is completely unique.
Following this, the vase undergoes two firings in the kiln - a bisque firing and a glaze firing, resulting in a stoneware finish. Each step in the process is a labor of love, bringing a unique charm to this one of a kind piece.
This vase is glazed on the inside but has no glaze on the outside.
